Rafting and kayaking the Sun Koshi River is a traditional river excursion that is well-known for ranking among the top ten river adventures worldwide. Every day on the river is fascinating and unique because of the constantly shifting surroundings. High mountains, an open valley, woodlands, and little, isolated villages can be seen at the start of the journey. You reach the prosperous settlement of Chatara and broad plains in the last days.
The class 3 rapids that are experienced at the start of the river trip are quite easy, providing a perfect opportunity for exceptional collaboration to truly develop. The size of the rapids grows as the Sun Koshi meanders across the nation, and it is not uncommon for locals observing from the riverbank to lose sight of the raft in the vast waves!
